    Dear all,

I got a problem and need your help.
My Laptop DV6500 can not start. After I turn it on, the power supply looks work properly, some brief lighting show the DVD driver is read. That's all.
The system maintain such situation forever. Nothing on screen, keyboard is some inactivate.
I tried to remove all the RAM, and restarted again, heard 3 three times big 'PIP' and the power light on-off constantly. It seems the mainboard is still alive but something wrong with the graphic card (Nvidia) or even the screen.
because of the weekend, I can not contact HP support, however my laptop run out of guarantee almost 2 months.

Looking for your ideas, how to do next? (repair, sell,... whatever).

    Thanks,

    Hieu

Graphics card is shot. If you're out of warranty you're gonna need a new motherboard (or send yours in for reflow). Reflow costs $20-$30, it doesn't always work but it's worth a shot, nVidia chips go bust because of the poor quality solder they used, so reflowing should help.
