I have a HP dv6500t and upgraded to Windows 7. My webcam has problems, where it would work for like 1-5 minutes and then stop working. I figured it was the drivers, but HP no longer supports my model for newer drivers. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and did you he/she find the solution or if anyone can give me a hand.

I have had my dv6500t webcam freeze up a few times but it hasn't happened often -- if a problem occurs, restarting the webcam fixes it. Webcam drivers have never existed.

Unfortunately, there isn't much I could offer to help you out -- just make sure that there are no programs that may cause conflict with webcam operation, and make sure you have the latest software updates (including BIOS).
