I came across this model thanks to a fellow member on the forums. It is not on the HP website but it can be found HP Shopping website. Click here to view this product.

This notebook seems much more capable than the DV6565ca. The DV6585ca comes with a T7300 processor with 800 MHz FSB rather than the T5450 with 667 MHz FSB in the DV6565ca.

The only thing that doesn't seem right is that in the spec sheet, the DV6585ca comes with the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection rather than the Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection that comes with all other Santa Rosa notebooks. The DV6585ca is obviously a Santa Rosa notebook, with its T7300 processor. Could the specs be wrong on the website? Why would a Santa Rosa notebook lack wireless-N and bluetooth?

The 3945ABG is still offered on some Santa Rosa models, as HP is trying to use up inventory of the older cards.

It's too bad. The DV6585ca would've been the PERFECT notebook for me if it had the Intel PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection.
