Hello, I recently brought a 2013 HP DV6T-7300 Quad Edition with Anti-glare 1080p led-backlit lcd monitor. Everything is pretty quality except for the monitor. It has some light bleeding on the bottom of the monitor when the screen is displaying black. I have attached a screen shot. Any owner has this problem? Or is this normal?

Backlight bleeding happens on all LCD panels to some extent. Does it bother you during normal usage or only when you're actively looking for it, such as cranking brightness to max and showing a black screen in a pitch-dark room? If it's the former, I would return the unit, otherwise keep it as there's no guarantee a replacement will be any better.

This is absolutely normal. I have the exact same model and exact same problem. Doesn't bother me at all during normal usage. Only time I ever notice itis during bootup. I received my unit 3 weeks ago. If it bothers you, I seriously double you will be able to get another dv6t 1080p without at least some light bleeding.

You might also want to turn down the brightness a notch, migh help a bit.

It doesn't bother a whole lot but it kinda attracts my attention when watching widescreen movies that doesn't use the entire screen with the top/bottom black borders. It could have help if the light bleeds were evenly distributed horizontally instead of appearing as spots. Anyway, thanks for the feedbacks.
