Lately my laptop has been running really hot. I don't know if this is normal but I'm hitting 140 degrees. Is anyone having the same issue? I bought this laptop in the beginning of the year.

While I dont have that laptop those temps look good to me. If you get to the 90c temps I would be starting to worry.

This is at idling though. And pardon the laptop model which was stated wrongly. It is the model right before the current DV6SE-6XXX.

I'm getting 15-20fps on Counter Strike:Source at least 20% of the time. And my CPU usage is around 70% and occasionally spikes to 90% when i have the game on. Could there be something wrong internally? I usually put the laptop to sleep instead of shut down every night.
