    Okay, I know that the DV6's with the first gen i5/i7's overheated a lot, but how about the ones with the P520? Will they also overheat like the i5's?

    I don't think so since the P520 doesn't clock as high as a core i. Also the with the AMD version the IGP (graphics chip) is not built in the CPU.

    I think you need to stop using the notebook on your lap...and preventing the proper airflow to keep everything cool. :)
