I received this laptop today and decided to put Ultimate on it instead of the Home Premium that came with it.

Though when I get the the windows 7 installation part, it asks for me to install/search for drivers for the sata controller. It does not detect my HDD, but my bios does.

I do not know what the controller name/model is nor do I know where to find it. If anyone could tell me where to and maybe share the file, please let me know!

    Specifications
    - A8 3550MX
    - 6620G + 7690M 1GB GDDR5
    - 6GB DDR3
    - 640GB HITACHI HDD.

    FAIL.

I was trying to install windows using the usb 3.0 port. Switched my USB stick with w7 image to a usb 2.0 port and installation is now flawless.
