    need help choosing.
    Which laptop is a better performer at games like COD 4, Crysis, Far Cry2, GTA4 and all the new games.

    Let me guess, you're aussie, right?

    The Dv7t is much better value there, with a better GPU, Resolution, hard Drive and CPU. The 9600M GT is better than the 3670 (just) and overclocks like crazy.

    Both laptops won't play GTA4 very well.

    wow thanks for the replies guys.
    i saw a vid of this guy playin gta4 on his hp. didnt see any lags...
    though maybe he was playing it with low settings.
    hell i even managed to play san andreas with my old radeon 9200.

    na im in new zealand ;) good guess though

    HP DV7 17" is better than the hdx 18t at gaming. am i right?

    That X300 kicks both of the previously mentioned laptop's behinds.
    Buy it, if you can stand the lid design.

    That bright red colour will obviously stand out if i carry it in uni. Although I'm willing to give it a ago for its gaming capability.
