hello guys..im new here and i would appreciate if you could help me to understand some things...before some time i ordered this memory kit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...hkin_2x4GB_DDR3_SODIMM-_-20-226-027-_-Product according to HP manual.when i received and tried it,laptop couldnt start so i opened a ticket to Mushkin and they offered an exchange and also sent an email :
The laptop you have does support up to 2x4GB(8GB total) of memory, however because of the limitations of the CPU a 2x4GB kit needs to be DDR3-1066(PC3-8500) and 4GB modules need to have 8 chips per side(16 total)
To install the maximum amount of memory in this laptop what you would require is 996644

can somebody explain me why ddr3-1333Mh(according to manual) memory didnt work at my laptop?which is the detail that i should check in a future buy so as to avoid making returnings?
