I have had this Pavilion dv7-1243cl (Vista 64 bit) for about a year. I have added some software programs (iTunes, Nortons, etc) but no hardware. Suddenly I am having a problem with the on screen display of the volume bar.

After the computer has been on for about an hour, the black osd bar comes on the screen and just moves up and down. After reading many posts, we have removed QuickLaunch but it still comes up.

I can't find anything with the word "quick touch" now. How can I disable the whole quick touch controls? Any help would be very appreciated.
