Hi. I'm having a problem with HDMI output from my dv7-3079wm to my 37" LG 1080p LCD. When I view the input on my TV, there is a black border around the image (like it is overscanned?). This happens at most resolutions, except for 1360x768, and I would like to watch Blurays in 1080p. So I'm not sure why it is doing this. I also tried this on a 42" Hitachi 720p TV with the same result (all resolutions) so I don't think that it is the TV. I couldn't find any settings in Catalyst Control Center also. My graphics card is an ATi Mobility Radeon 4650. Thanks for reading this and any help is appreciated.

    Are you running 64 bit?
I think this is a problem with the ATI drivers on 64 bit systems
I had this problem a while ago and gave up, because I found a site that said it was a problem with 64bit, but I can't find the link now

Yeah I am running 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I wonder if they will ever update the drivers......

In CCC options choose Desktops & Displays tab, then right-click the monitor in the bottom and select Configure. In the Scaling Options tab select correct scaling and image should appear fine.

There's no actual problem with the drivers themselves, they are just so badly made that finding correct options requires to navigate up, down and sideways before correct slider is visible. Only reason I have ATI in this secondary desktop is because it had better video acceleration than nvidia & integrated audio via HDMI when I bought it.

Hey, thanks for that. I knew there had to be some sort of setting in CCC but I had no idea where. It works perfect now! Thanks.

In my Device Manager it says Driver Date 4.11.2009 and Driver Version 8.671.0.0.

    CCC version is 2009.1104.959.17837.

Small Shuttle desktop, but it should not matter.
