    I'm trying to install:

1.) Intel turbo boost technology driver and...

2.) Intel management engine driver (listed on HP's website for my product but not on this site for the thread devoted to my system and driver installations ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=404164)

I keep getting an error message telling me that my hardware doesn't meet the minimum system requirements to install the software...which makes no sense! I've already installed the Intel chipset driver. This must be installed before installing the ones that are refusing to install.

I called HP, got India and the guy insists just because the driver is listed for my product doesn't mean it needs to be installed. I just kinda laughed it off, he was useless.

So I did a google search on the problem and it seems a lot of people are having the same problem getting these two drivers to install-same error message and everything.

Anyone have any info on IF they really need to be installed and if so, how the heck do you get them to install already?

    Thanks

Intel Management Engine is for corporate asset management. Definitely not something a regular user would even think about using.

OK cool, any word about the turbo boost driver though? It seems to be a wide issue according to a google search.

    Thanks
