Hello my name is Andrew and I recently bought an HP DV7T-6100 Quad Edition a few months ago with all the bells and whistles. I am in love with this laptop, however I do have one problem I hope you guys can help me with.

When using my laptop my hand/wrists rest on the cutouts for the speakers on the front of my laptop. (Area in question circled in red.)

Now the plastic (highlighted in yellow) has broken off completely on one side and has cracked on the other.

My question is has anyone experienced this and if so did HP help you out or did you have to buy the part yourself? Also can anyone provide the HP Part number for the part I need to order to fix these broken areas.

I know it is cosmetic but the laptop is fairly new and it bothers me that my new laptop has places that are broken/cracked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
