    HP DV7t Quad Issue with quick launch mute

    Does anyone have this issue? The quick launch mute button will mute the sound properly, but intermittently will un-mute without my touching it. This is noticeable usually when I close my laptop and open it again. It doesn't always happen, but does happen frequently enough to prompt me to see if i can fix this.

    I reinstalled Windows 7, along with all of the latest drivers available in the dv7t driver thread on this forum. I only installed a select few of the HP media / quick launch drivers, namely

    HP Quick Launch
    HP Media smart menu
    HP media smart DVD
    HP Media smart webcam

    This issue was happening before, and after I did the clean install.
