    HP DV8000 Screen problem

    My Hp dv8000 doesn't go to post. When I unluged the screen, after taking the laptop appart, it boots to windows. Any idea whether it's the screen or video card.

    Did you boot it into windows on an external screen or the internal one? Also do you have the nvidia 7400 go or the 7600 or by chance you have an ati radeon xpress 200m card. Either way from the sounds of it its the screen but i need some more details.
