Got mine last week as a replacement for my dead zd7000.... a nice upgrade to say the least...
anyways, 2.0 core duo processor..1 gb ram, 128 mb video card, 80 gb hd...
needless to say, this comp is a great improvement overall over the ZD series...
smaller, lighter, better built...all of the above
the small details are great...the 1 fan is very quiet, machine never runs hot at all...
best part, the ac adapter is 1/3 the size of the ZD7000...near the size of a powerbook...
battery life is outstanding also..
best of all, this comp can lay down some hustle...i do a lot of 3d design, using maya and 3dmax.....did a benchmark for maya....blew away dual zenon processors and all of that....just a flat out great comp so far
as for the bag...if you are a stylis minimalist...go for the incase sling pack....so sweet of a bag....the comp just fits in the bag (Althought not in the computer slot, but in the main compartment, which is really fine by me) but its a tight fit, but it does fit. The bag can also fit a notebook but thats about it. if you just want a bag for your comp, go for this one, its great...

I JUST got an Email from HP Shopping saying that my dv8000t shipped today! And my estimated ship date was March 30. I am excited!

thanks this information was useful since I was looking to buy dv8000t and I want to do 3d design as well. How is the keyboard?

The keyboard has some issues but they are almost resolved by members of this forum. Do not bother with hp tech if you have issues. Just find the link about the keyboard or to save yourself alot of reading just pm me and I will tell you how to correct it.
