Well a friend of mine brought in his HP DV900 lappy AMD version , his wireless card doesn't work , i guess bc of bad broadcom wireless, i put in my intel wireless card 3945 in there. Boot up the windows, nothing show up.
I check the switch back and forth, nothing show up either. Even in devicemanager, i see nothing disable or in "question mark" . I went in the device manager and check under the network adapter, only nvidia LAN and I1394 show up but not the wireless card.
So is it possible minipci express card BROKEN? man this is really weird. Wireless card is rarely to never broken down or the mini pci express slot , i want to reinstall windows on this one and check if it works but he didn't give me power adapter and he lived 50 mins away from my place.. ... darn.
Any suggestion would be appreciated or other wise this thread will be left with no answer .![]()

is it switched off in bios by accident ?
if it does not show up and you are sure it should be working, this is something you should investigate. -

Looks like your notebook will have to be sent in for repair. From what i hear it is a motherboard issue with some notebooks and getting a new wireless card will do nothing. So check the link to see if you fall under that service enhancement.
