More specs needed. I think integrated webcams should ber standard on all new notebooks.

I think its nice that they are using the geforce 7600 GPU. Much better than the express 200 in the DV8000z. I wish they would include more choice though, like the 7800 and 7900.

Although, since their intel laptops generally have better graphics options than their AMD ones, it might mean that if they ever make a DV9000t, it'll have something better than the 7600 available.

    :D HDMI port :D

That is good news indeed.... wonder what's up with HDMI port on "select" models as the :nvidia: 7600 series GPU are already set-up for the extra hdmi module.

With a true HDMI port you should be able to hook it up to say a "Big-Screen Tv, Plasma, LCD, Projector...

You bring up a interesting point.... Hope they don't drop the HDMI port if they go with the 7900, etc....

Yes currently only an AMD chipped machine is listed, but given the history of HP an Intel version should be along shortly..

I'm sort of wondering on that HDMI port if they do go to say a 7800 /7900 if we'll lose that. Read a Nvidia Release saying the 7600 gpu's already have the coding for HDMI, only an additional module being needed to add the HDCP signal into the DVI data stream. (DVI+HDCP=HDMI)
