Hi Guys
I have a HP Pavillion DV9010TX notebook with a XB3000 expansion dock station attached to it.
I bought a set of Creative M4500 4.1 channel speakers.
I connected the speakers in the headphone jack available on the right hand side of the expansion dock, but only two speakers are working. i tried changing the control panel settings of sound from desktop speakers to quadraphonic speakers but it dint help.
Ive got two cables coming out of the SUB woofer one black and one green i have plugged in the black one in the headphone jack.
I also tried pluging in these cables in the front slots provided on the notebook for headphone, mic and SPDIF. i pluged in the black cable in headphone and green one in SPDIF but then it so happened that these connections dint work as the dock station speakers were at play. so then i disconnected the dock station and and tried again, this time only 3 speakers worked. But the problem here in this option is only 3 speakers working and that to after disconnecting the expansion dock, which i don't want to do as i have lots of devices connecting thru it
I tried my best to start all the four speakers but in vain. Is there any adapter or a converter that can help me convert it into a single pin.
Please guys i need your suggestions and help on this as i m a novice with these kind of issues.
Hope you'll wouldnt disappoint me.
