Hello guys, I have managed to install windows xp on my new hp dv9560ea and it all works fine (webcam, finger print reader, etc, etc)

The only thing I am wondering, is it possible to install quickplay on XP?

Also, I installed windows xp professional , you think there is anyway to install windows media center on it? Just that app, or I have to install windows media player version on top of my actual copy of windows?

Or maybe you can suggest any other software to make usage of the tv tunner that comes with the laptop?

    Thanks,

    J

You can install Quickplay on the laptop, but it will require you to reinstall Windows if you erased the first small partition on the HDD. Quickplay is installed in a small partition on the beginning of the drive. I included a hyperlink below that will take you to HP's website for installing quickplay:

Media Center is a separate operating system from XP Pro and Home. There is no software that you can just install onto Pro or Home, you actually need to buy Media Center edition full version, or you can buy the upgrade.

    Hope this helps!
