Hello, Can anyone tell me if I am able to hook up an xbox 360 to the HP DV9500t..

I am looking into buying one (Either this or the Inspiron 1720) as I am going to be moving to the USA for some jobs and I wanted to know if I could use it to play my xbox 360. I have component cables but can buy the VGA cables for the 360. Please let me know.

    Appreciate it!

Oh Also if anyone knows...is the express card that comes with the 9500t accept High Definition signals?

Thank you very much, great community here and hope to contribute in the future!

If you get the TV tuner with the laptop, you can hook up an Xbox 360. And yes, it does accept HD video.

You can't use a laptop monitor as a game console display. The video ports only put out video to other monitors.

You could buy a TV tuner and hook the 360 up to that, but you wouldn't be able to play games as there is a slight delay with TV tuners.

The delay also varies from tuner to tuner.
