Hello everyone. I just upgraded my HP notebook after reading this thread:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-pavilion-notebooks/278935-hp-pavilion-dv9535nr-cpu-upgrade-6.html

My DV 9535NR now has the T9300 and 4gb of memory. I am running windows 7 home premium 64. Everything works great except the speakers now make a really loud buzz. It almost sounds like an engine running on a old nintendo game. I followed the HP maintenance manual to the t when I made the upgrade and have gone back over twice now and taken my laptop apart and put it back together again, checking every connection.

When my HP was in its original form, I upgraded and ran windows 7 with no issues, but now since I upgraded the processor, i have this annoying buzz coming from the speakers. I have reloaded the audio driver both from HP and realtek. I have reflashed the bios, and even did another clean install of windows. I bought a new speaker unit thinking maybe the speakers themselves went bad, but that didnt help either.

I can mute the speakers which makes the buzzing stop, but then I of course have no sound. I am pretty much stumped here on whats going on. Can anyone help?

    Thanks!
