Hello, I have an HP pavillion DV9825nr and I've been having a really bad problem with the bootup. Everytime I turn it on, it takes it around 5 minutes just to start loading the OS (Vista 64bits). I'm guessing this is a problem with the BIOS since its the starting loading sequence which is giving me a hard time.

The computer is fast and behaves perfectly after it loads Vista. I reaaly need help on this matter, I have googled AAAA LOOOOOT and haven't found nothing.

I hit ESC while it shows the HP logo at bootup to see what the BIOS is showing and it displays no errors or whatsoever.

I really need help guys! :(

Clear out your startup items. Install CCleaner and look at the startup section, this will reveal all the programs that are starting when your computer starts up, and most of these don't need to start when your computer starts up, things like quicktime etc. Antivirus should stay on startup.
