    I recently saw an HP DVD-4000 at two local retail stores and was surprised when I noticed how off-center the touchpad is. It seems to be centered to the notebook case but is 1" - 1.5" off-center to the right of the keyboard's spacebar. Doesn't anyone at HP actually test their notebook designs???

    I have a DV4000 and I just noticed that, but because I only noticed it after you said it, its not an issue for me at all.
