I've been looking around to replace my girlfriend's wifi card on her HP Dv4t, but can't find anywhere that tells me which one is compatible.

At first I was just going to buy the intel centrino advanced 6230, but read that it doesn't work in HP laptops.

What would be an equivalent that would work in her Dv4t?

What are you trying to achieve by getting a new wifi card? As HP has a whitelist bios.some how people had card ordered from HP and doesn't work.

I want a better connection. I believe she has an atheros card.
