If I do keep my HP dv5 that broke on day 1, I was thinking about going to the lower video card from the 9600t to rid the heat problem and asking to get the hd tv tuner instead, Got some questions though may not be right forum but please help!

    1. Anyone know if this tuner will work for comcast (I know comcast has special copyright encryption that wont let people d/l a lot of content on to there computer drives/tivo's....

    2. How well does it work, does the HD look good?

    3. Do I just plug it in to the coaxial cable and for hd is there anything special I need to buy?

    4. What format does it download in, once downloaded can I transfer to an external hard drive?

    5. THANK YOU for answering any of these for me!!!

I work for comcast so I get everything (all channels) for free so I thought this might be a good change, cool down the laptop and d/l hella free hd movies.....

The cards onlys support broadcast and clearquam, so anything that you could get from the tv normaly without the box is all your going to get with this one. no premium channels.
