I've searched the forum for help but couldn't really find my specific issue. I have been trying to use skype/aim to talk to my freinds but after about 30 seconds the sound goes static and i cant hear anything and they cant hear me. Then today HP updated some drivers. After trying to use skype, my webcam was not found i checked the device manager and there was no longer an "HP webcam" i tried installing the driver from HP's website and no luck. I tried using the Acer drivers and still no luck. Im using Windows Vista Home Premium 32. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! (I also tried using system restore, but it didnt help)

I noticed that if you are installing Vista Home Premium, the drivers for HP Webcam will not get installed properly. However, if you install Vista Ultimate, the HP Webcam driver gets installed correctly and works.

I'll see if I can save the drivers in Ultimate and attach the drivers here.

I tried looking for KB fix 913812 and here's what I found:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913812/

What is this M.O.M they're talking about? I don't think this is involved with my webcam...I could be wrong though....Thanks!
