Just trying to figure out how to get into the advanced bios because for some reason My 1600mhz memory is clocking in at 800mhz, at least speccy says it is. I know on my old HP TM2t it was f10 and a or q but that doesn't seem to work on this guy.

DDR is double data rate. So when you see 800, it is actually operating at 1600MHz.

That does not work. I flashed the modded bios to access the advanced menu.
My envy was semi-bricked.
Its not worth a try unless someone figures out a way to get past the RSA signed bios' -
MagusDraco Biiiiiiirrrrdmaaaaaaan
you can't really flash modded envy bioses.
you can try the bios key + A back and forth really quick as the computer boots to access the advanced bios.
well if it's the same as the cto 1xxx (so f10 then a, back and forth rapidly) -
I know ddr3 is double data rate but I have never seen my desktop with 16gb of ddr3 1600 say 800mhz with speccy, nor have any of my other computers. I would not have asked unless I thought there is something wrong, now if for some reason the crappy bios in these pc's reports 800mhz to speccy instead 1600mhz than fine I can live with that. I have tried the methods listed above and I still can't access the advanced menu, thank you.
