    Hello,

I have just bought a HP Envy 14 from the UK (PC World). I would like to purchase a slice battery but I am having trouble finding it at the moment.

I originally thought I could get it from the HP UK Store where they are currently selling the Envy 14. I was just about to place the order when I noticed the battery they have listed as an accessory for the Envy 14 is actually for the Envy 15.

Does anyone in the UK have a slice battery and if so where did you get it from?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've looked for sliced batteries allover the net. People say you can get it for 200$, but I haven't found a single Canadian or US website with them for sale, or else I'd link ya one.

Found this (late August 2010 article):

Well I have not yet found anywhere in the UK to get it from but it looks like you can get them straight from HP in the US from here...

Unfortunately the HP website will not ship anywhere outside of the US. I cannot even find an international eBay listing for it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hey dude, I've had the same problem myself. I've spoken to HP many times about this issue and after finally getting through to the 'HP Premium Product Support' line, I was informed that the battery would be available separately in late March/early April. I've been talking to HP on twitter this week and hopefully I'll have an updated answer soon. Hope this helps man, I'll of course let you know what I find out and give you any links once they're live.

Hey, Szadzik, I ordered one from there last week, on the 28th. It's currently sitting in the French customs zone for some odd reason?

Would be great to get them straight from HP. "I was informed that the battery would be available separately in late March/early April" Hmmm.. The ENvy 14 is no longer listed on the front page type section so I can only think that the battery will be available with the refresh or used on the new elitebook models as well.

P.s. To annoy people, I have two on the way now :) (Runs off from the angry mob).

I keep checking ebay from time to time, especially the ebay.com as I'm in the UK. Heck, I'll get them from anywhere as long as they work

I'm in the U.K, Wales to be exact. Oppps. Bit of a mistake there.

I got my money refunded to Paypal yesterday with a note saying the battery was out of stock so that site is legitimate. It is not a UK website but Hong Kong, I can't see how they can have a .co.uk named site though

are you still after a slice battery?

if so PM me back I have one and as the laptop has been sent back to HP due to faulty speakers I am stuck with it.

so if you are after a bargain let me know as i might be able to let it go for a small sum

    :)
