Ok I have had my envy since march no sound problems, I stupidly updated the sound driver thinking I would gain something, now my eq setting dont sound nearly as good as before, the envy also at 15% volume sounds like beyond full blast and I feel like my ears will bleed, also I use to be able to raise up all the eq settings and it made my speakers louder but now it just distorts them... WHAT DID I DO!?, I tried re installing old drivers, or reinstalling what ever drivers I could find and nothing is helping, I've seen other posts about people headphone port being insanely loud but mine did not have that problem before.

If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it !

    ALSO I HAVE A BEATS EDITION XQ104AV

My speakers sound fine, but plugging in any external devices makes it incredibly loud as well. Just adding some concern about this situation too.
