Hi I recently purchased a HP ENVY 14-2166SE Beats Edition Notebook. The laptop runs great and overall I like it, however there is one big issue. The screen has what looks like a grid covering the entire screen, which seems to me is due to the pixels being too far apart from one another leaving horizontal and vertical lines thoughout the screen. It is most noticeable on white backgrounds. I was reading online and people have called this the "screen door effect" and said it was common on low quality displays. I was thinking it was due to the low 1366x768 resolution but I have an old hp dv6 that has the same resolution and the screen looks fine, much better compared to the envy. I am curious if this is normal for this display, or if I got a bad screen and should return it?
Thanks

So no one that has an envy 14 laptop can tell me if the screen is poor quality?

Hey I have the same exact laptop but I do not have this problem. You should return it or send it to repair.
