    Guys,

I am stuck with the ENVY 15. Cannot return it, cannot sell it.
I can't live with the limited color gamut of the screen. I am doing lot of photoshop work and it started to be soo annoying. Most of the reds are out of its color gamut. !

After several hours of research I decided to look for a new screen to replace it in my new Envy. So there are couple of seller on ebay offering matte and glossy FHD screens for 15-3040nr.

However, before I will decide to buy it I want to ask for an advice.

    1. Is it posible to succesfully replace the panel?
    2. What quality can I expect from the screens offered on ebay?
    3. What do you think about this solution for the problem? The panels cost about 150$, so it is on an acceptable level...

I would spend the 150 on a secondary larger monitor. Not worth replacing the lcd on your own. imo
