There are times when I start typing and certain keys won't initially register, and I have to hit it 3-4 times before it appears. N and B keys are working not well. Maybe i need to disassemble this keys and check them, but i'm scared to broke them, is there any manual for hp ENVY keys???

Have you applied the latest BIOS update, it addresses and issue with the keyboard?

Oh yes definitely, the BIOS controls the low level hardware and in the past several BIOS updates it has also updated the low level firmware for the keyboard.

Did you even search the forum? There are some long threads with people talking adnauseum about how their keyboard keeps on missing keystrokes.

Also you can easily see from the change log on the latest firmware update that the only thing it addresses is the missing keystrokes for the keyboard.

    Hi REGEN42,
Did the bios update resolve your issue with the keyboard?
