HP ENVY M6 Sleek book suggestion

Hi i am planning to buy HP ENVY 15 M6 sleek book.
There are two models
1.

Microprocessor 1.6GHz 4th generation Intel Core i5-4200U Processor with Turbo Boost up to 2.6GHz
Microprocessor Cache 1MB L2 Cache
Memory 8GB DDR3L SDRAM (2 DIMM)

Microprocessor 1.6GHz 4th generation Intel Core i5-4200U Processor with Turbo Boost up to 2.6GHz
Microprocessor Cache 3MB L2 Cache
Memory 4GB DDR3 SDRAM (2 DIMM)

Questions:
1.Which of this will be faster because the cache memory is differing and ddr3 and ddr3l.
2.At present i use HP HDX 16 with core2duo T9950 with 6mb l2 chace . will the above models be slower than this or faster.
PS My ram utilization never exceeds 3 gb.
