    HP ENVY NFS RIVALS NO SOUND FIX [Temporary] [25-01-2014]

    Here's my simple fix for no sound in nfs rivals in hp envy beats series,


    Attached a batch file (change .txt to bat) , edit the batch file in notepad (right click - edit) , change the NFS rivals application path to where you've installed
    Now this has to be run instead of the application
    This is only a temporary fix , not a pure driver fix
    So enjoy

    Clear instructions:
    Once you have downloaded the file, right click it and press edit, it should open up in a notepad.
    Go to where your NFS14.exe is, press shift and right click the NFS14 file and press "copy as path".
    Go back to the notepad, and go to the instruction "change file path here".
    Delete everything under that line and paste the path you've just copied.
    Save the file as NFS14FIX.bat
    Run the file as administrator, you should have sound.

    Changing the value manualy work but create a pure mess with graphics. Game is always crashing.

    I tried the way your guide, but the result is still no sound, you can instruct one specific image is not???
    But I've deleted the game IDT audio and still sound, but very small
    Hope you help me :eek:

    It works! Thanks a lot man.
    But I'm having another issue, my screen is 1080p but I run the game in 720p due to lag, problem is that the game doesn't automatically scale to full screen instead its centered with black borders around it.
