Anyone else looking at getting the HP EliteBook 2540p? The pre-configured ones are now up for ordering at HP's website ( http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF25a/321957-321957-64295-3740645-3955549-4138624.html). I'm trying to decide between this and the Lenovo X201(s). And I still can't decide if I need a optical drive or not and if it's worth losing the extra graphics processing speed with the LM processors vs. the M.

I'm intrested in this model. The pre-configs are no longer up on the HP site, so I'm waiting to see how expensive they're going to be. The x201 are under onsideration, but it reminds me too much of the thinkpads I used over 10 years ago, wheras the HP look a littl more modern.

Looks like they have three different pre-configured models on the website (at $1099, $1549, and $1629):

I, too, am trying to decide between this and the Lenovo x201. Anyone have any thoughts on that choice? -
Oops, it was the 2740p, I was interested in. I wish I could try one out in person.
