    Hey all.

Was considering buying this notebook. I noticed they have released the pre-configured models.

I wish they had some option to custom configure it. :(

The model which interested me was the KS084UT ( http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/e...295-321838-89315-3688868-3688870-3793164.html)

If we go to the Spec Sheet (PDF), the HDD is 160 GB 7200, where as on the website it say 160 GB 5400 rpm.

Any idea which one is right?

Also i was thinking, is the processor enough? I thought i would get to see an option of the 2.53 Ghz 6mb, but alas it is not there.

I plan to travel a lot, and to middle east (where it is very sandy and humid) and sometimes use progs like photoshop, maya etc..

    Thanks for any input.

If you're going to be doing a lot of graphics intensive stuff you might want to step up to the new Elitebook mobile workstations which are just as rugged but more powerful.

nah those graphic intensive progs are just for hobby, will run it rarely.

Mostly to play HD-Movies, Plus need high battery Life (which they claim can run for 5+ hrs) and some very light gaming.

Main concern is traveling and that i am not a neat person, so i wish the laptop to be able to take care of itself :p
