Okay so i just finished installing new drivers for my elitebook 8770w with a 980m inside i had to disable drive signature enforcement and enable test mode to install the drivers here are the steps to do so. (you can disable all after)
1: Open command prompt as admin and type -
bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
to allow test signing
2: Hold Shift and click restart under power options and continue holding shift till the windows recovery menu comes up you want to hit troubleshoot and command prompt let your computer reboot and enter the command prompt then enter the following.
bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on
3: Reboot and install the drivers i have linked below
4: (optional if you would like to enable the options we just disabled after installing drivers) Open command prompt as admin and type bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF
then close command prompt hold shift and click power then restart while still holding shift go to troubleshoot and click command prompt once again and go through the reboot process and access the command prompt again and enter bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks off
Let me know if this helps you or works for anyone else. it should but would love some feedback, Thank You and good luck everyone
