Hi there., Am sure this has been talked about a lot but a few simple questions:

    1. is the screen a matt LED on the 2530 P ? Has anyone noticed flickering and hance eye strain?

    2. With a 3 cell (4 cell?) battery what is the exact weight? Say SATA drive

    3. What is the quality of the speaker like? I need a good enough speaker for Skype conversations as I don't like headphones for longer than 10 minutes or so.

    4. Webcam I guess is OK quality?

    Thanks, J.

From the 2530P Maintenance & Service Guide

    Weight
Equipped with DVD-ROM Drive, 9-cell battery, and WLAN 1.79 kg 3.95 lbs
Equipped with DVD-ROM Drive, 6-cell battery, and WLAN 1.64 kg 3.62 lbs
Equipped with DVD-ROM Drive, 3-cell battery, and WLAN 1.48 kg 3.26 lbs
Equipped with 3-cell battery and WLAN module 1.29 kg 2.84 lbs

DVD-ROM weights 190grams. 2.5" drive weighs 102grams. Caddy would be ~100grams. If remove the 1.8" drive and use the 2.5" with the caddy then would be below above weights.
