    What happened to the HP Envy line? It was use to have the best components around ? I think dell xps looks better now

    they basically ended the high end envys and renamed everything. pavillion-> envy, g series-> pavillion, compaq-> gseries. the premium laptops left are the spectre ones that are more for portabile/light weight than high performacne.

    I was thinking of the same.

    With everyone releasing some good quality ultrabook 2012 with nice screen, HP still stuck with crap screen. Sad. I wanted to get the HP Spectre XT too, nice laptop..sad screen and no touch :(
