    Hi,
My laptop CPU usage is fine when on the battery 33% but when I plug into mains this rises to 100% slowing everything down.
My power settings for battery and mains are the same and I'm running the same processes according to windows task manager. The cpu usage for the individual processes doesn't change when plugged into mains but yet overall it rises to 100% - go figure !

anyone help me on this? thanks
