    Hey everyone,

I need to get to the advanced bios for my laptop, HP Envy 14 2000CT (i7 2630QM). Apparently pressing F10 and A does not work for the SB Envy 14. Is there any other way that I can do this without possibly bricking my computer?

    Thanks

You'll need someone to modify the BIOS for you. Check over on mydigitallife forum. I've had several BIOS done by the members there.

As mentioned in the ENVY 15-3000 series owners' lounge, HP has locked down the advanced BIOS on all new HP ENVY computers ever since I announced its possibility last year. In hindsight I should not have released that information.

I see, is there any possibility of bricking the laptop if you have someone mod the Bios?
