Simple question really, is the HP Envy 14 2002ea compatible with Sata 3 SSD's?

I currently have an OCZ Agility 3 240gb SSD installed in it however, it is only running at Sata II speeds... I was just wondering if the chipset is compatible with Sata 3 or has HP restricted it via the bios or could my SSD/Laptop be faulty?

    Thanks
