Ok, so after my hard drive failed, numerous imperfections, I think this might be the last straw on this laptop.

It's ironic that HP boasts this laptop as having high performance audio, when right now, I can't even connect my headphones to the port. The headphones work fine on any other outlet source, such as my iPod or my desktop, but no, not this laptop.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? I think my laptop is still under warranty, and I really do either want them to fix this or refund my money. I just have had enough with this stupid laptop, and I wish I had just sucked up and bought a macbook now.

return/refund it if you've had lots of issues and are sick of it.

I know at least one person had their headphone jack just not work. Also, better computers exist now.

I mean if nothing else you can go after something with a 6650 and/or sandy bridge now.

edit: This computer is fine if you get a nice one but if it has a ton of problems, it's not really worth it to go through the repair process. It takes awhile and and sometimes they don't fix stuff since HP's communication is...well. Bad at times.

you can either ask for a replacement or just return it.

however you only had 21 days to return it. The 1 year warranty will only let you get a replacement (if you argue enough)
