Has anyone seen any info about when the Beats version will be available? I've done a lot of Googling and I haven't seen anything.

From what I read...I understand that both the Envy 14 and the Beats Edition Envy 14 will be available June 15th. I thought I had read something about it, but don't remember where...
It would be nice if the people at HP would put a little more information out. I tried asking the people at HP in the sales department and they claimed ignorance as to whether the Envy would be even getting SB. Sigh... -

I'll see if I can find it.
Even if you don't get the "Beats Edition" , the new Envy 14 still has Beats audio. As far as I can tell, the Beats Edition is really only aesthetics. One thing I did think is cool is the dv7tqe...it has Beats audio and includes a small subwoofer. Shame I don't want such a massively huge laptop. -

Beats Edition Envy 14 SB
Now...I will say - This is from CNET Asia. Take that for what it's worth. -

Why are they not treating the envy 14 beats like the regular one because the current envy beats only offers core i7 and is cheaper?

Make sure to search the internet for discount codes. I got 25% off...so I got a Beats for 1300 with an SSD and 8 GB RAM. -

I'm coming from a MacBook unibody 13in (late 2008) and so I've got like the best trackpad experience possible right now. I'm hoping that the new trackpad on the SB Envy 14 will be a decent improvement over the previous edition. -
Yes, I followed the forums and tried using Reil's driver patch. Your bar is higher than mine, but hopefully the new trackpad will be good enough for both of us.

My preference is odd but I prefer the absolute original drivers with Reil's program over all the other options. The driver updates after the stock disable the touchpad when keyboard is in use which I tried and didnt work out based on how I use it. And above all, I always used to tap on all my laptops and found the touchpad perfect with tap, double tap and triple tap.
edit: scrolling is not perfect especially when inertia and acceleration is enabled but is fine without inertia (not jumpy). and the biggest flaw is not being able to put finger on left click and move cursor in the few times that I attempt to do it; it starts jumping and annoys me. -
