Hello everyone, first of all I have HP envy 14-1110 NR with windows 8 consumer preview installed.

I've searched and searched all over the web for a fix on my ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000 series. Ever since I installed Windows 8, the video card has not been working, as well as Catalyst software. I have already downloaded and installed the update for the Windows 8 version, but still no use. It device status continues to say "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".

If anyone has any luck please let me know! I haven't been able to game on my laptop for a long time! Thanks

Do you have a Win 7 partition running with your Radeon working? If not, you might want to try installing one to ensure that your card didn't crap out at the same time as you changed the OS - that sort of thing has happened to me more than once...
