    hey guys

I just recently got a problem with my HP Envy 14 1210nr. It worked absolutely fine right before i packed it up and decided to take it with me on a trip, i safely put it in my bag, then into the car. No bumps, smooth drive, etc. I open my bag a few hours ago to try and turn it on, and the only thing i've gotten is very loud fan speed, the screen doesn't turn on, and my capslock key is flashing (which i'll get to in a second).

I searched for a solution already with no avail, i did a hard reset, and the problem still persists. I checked the chart with the flashing LED light that HP gave out, and i can only see one of two things:

A: the light blinks constantly, at about an interval of 2 seconds between each flash, meaning the chart is absolutely useless to me because it gots beyond any problem it lists there, or..

B: The light blinks once every 2 seconds, and it means my CPU is malfunctioning.

I'm not exactly which way to look at it..

The odd thing is, this isn't the first occurance, earlier this week it did it one time, right before i shut it off, and reboot it, and it worked fine. This time, i can't get anything out of it.

I'm still under warranty i believe, but if this is something i can fix via software hotkeys, or anything, let me know.

    Thanks

    -J

You would probably have to open it up to fix it, as you get no post.

Are there any devices plugged into it? I know that if my cell phone is plugged into mine it never starts up and the caps lock key does what yours does.

    Hello XeroJager,

Have you contacted HP? I would recommend doing so since you mentioned the product is still in warranty. If you need assistance in doing so please email your product and contact information to [email protected]. Please include in the subject line Attn: Veronica-NBR.
