Has anyone located a compatible travel AC adapter for the HP Envy 15 (3000) i5/7690 that wasn't designed during the cold war like the 120W brick included?

Included 120W obnoxious brick with super rigid thick cords.
My actual brick is thinner and wider.

They show this 90W slim travel on their website, but I was really hoping for one with a 90 degree connector. They don't specifically say HP Envy 15, but they do say supports HP Eny 17.

This alternate pic shows their 90W slim travel supplies two different connectors, both straight:

I've been massaging the thick cords on the standard 120W, but it's going to be a long time before they don't act like outside industrial extension cords.

Kudos to HP for avoiding any possibility of a fire hazard, but I need a slim travel AC adapter. Prefer 90 degree connector.

Thanks for anything folks have discovered.

I'd love to get a 90 degree adapter or anything that doesn't stick out as much as the adapter the Envy ships with. I just know one day my wife or dog is going to run into it and snap it off while it's plugged in.

The 90W slim adapter gave a warning on Envy 17's that it wasn't enough power so I would assume the same for the Envy 15. It is compatible however, all the latest hp laptops got the same connector. I charged an envy 4 and dm4 with the envy 17 charger.

It is indeed the same for the Envy 15.

I still have the AC Adapter from one of my old Envy 14s and it gave the warning. The thing I actually miss is the USB charging port on that one. Wish that was on the 120W ones.

What are your charge times like vs the 120W charger?

Do you do any gaming on your Envy 15? It's been my understanding that 90W will work just fine for basic usage, but should be strained by high-power computing. I don't know what the effects of this would be exactly, though, probably just a slower charge or a slow drain on the battery while using more power than the charger offers.
