My wifi adapter is on the fritz (causes BSOD under heavy load and the whole system is just slow when the cards in there).

I tried placing an old N1000 in there for a temporary fix but it's blacklisted and won't boot (says I have to remove it to boot).

I've read this before about HP "whitelisting" and "blacklisting" wireless cards. How do I get a new wireless card that is whitelisted (I've read even the exact model of the cards are marked as HP or dell etc)? Or does anyone have a link to a cracked BIOS where the whitelisting has been removed (again I know this was done in older HP's but haven't found anything for this model).

    Thanks,
    Aaron
