I bought this back in 2012 running win7. The only thing I modified was doubling the memory from 8 to 16 gigs.

Was never interested in Win 8 so I waited for Win 10. Upgraded rather than "clean install".

So now my "issue" is that it boots very slowly with the new OS. There are times that the screen actually goes blank/black for 2 minutes before it finally fully boots up.

Has anyone else found this to be the case? If so what did you do to speed up this slow boot issue?

Also, are there any diagnostic utilities that could analyze just what is going on during those long pauses (I am assuming some startup program or driver is hanging)?

Also, while we are at it - any other tweaks you found useful after upgrading to Windows 10. I would really like to get at least 2 more years out of this great little machine! Thanks

More than an year late in posting to your query. Did you sort out the problem? Are you still using the machine with win 10?
